Each month an article is produced for publication in church magazines or for church notice boards.  Below you can download the update for the summer term.

Well Done to everyone who took part in the walk to raise money for China.  We have raised almost £700 for this great cause.  It seems that lots of people are still talking about how much they enjoyed it - maybe we shall have to do another one next year! 

Everyone had a great evening making a selection of jewellery and enjoying a few tasty desserts.  Thanks to all who helped!  Sarah, Callie and Fran all did a great job on the drama and talky bit.  thanks!  Another Girls Only is being planned. 

If you didn’t make it along to this event - you missed a treat!  Both Sam and Pete were  great musicians and it was really encouraging to see two young men so passionate about what they believe in - and doing something about it!  Thanks to all who helped with this evening.

The Zone is the event for middle age children.  Sadly, we will not be having another meeting until September.  Dates are presently being decided and will be available shortly. 

A prayer letter is produced each month so that we can inform people of our prayer needs.  We very much appreciate the time that our supporters spend covering all we do in prayer - it is a vital part of this ministry.  Please contact us if you would like the prayer letter to either be emailed to you, or posted to you - or you can download it below and open it in Word.  Thank you to all those who support us in this way.

We are involved in taking lessons, assemblies and Christian Unions in both middle and upper schools in Bury and the surrounding district.  BCY runs lunch-time clubs at five middle schools.  There is also a monthly event called ‘The Zone’ specifically for children in school years 5-8 and an event for upper school age young people.  Currently BCY has a part-time administrator/youth worker and is currently seeking someone to fill the position of full-time youth worker.
